4G and 5G are different wavelengths, so this wouldn't boost 5G frequencies. All 5G carriers still support 4G at this time. This would boost their 4G signals making them stronger. Most 5G phones automatically switch between 4G and 5G based on the stronger, faster signal. While you may not necessarily have 5G speeds, this would ensure that if your 5G speeds were reduced based on poor connectivity your 4G would still remain fast and reliable.
