- Answer If you'd like to use LTE, yes, you need to pay for service with an eSIM (already built in) or a SIM card from your cellular provider. If you do not want LTE, it will function like any other computer with WiFi.

- Answer Great question! While the USB-C port on Surface Pro X does support limited charging in, we recommend using the power supply that comes with Surface Pro X to get the best and fastest charge possible.

- Answer No it does not have a micro SD slot. It does however have a removable SSD, so you may be able to replace that with a higher capacity drive eventually (right now the form-factor of the drive is pretty new so I haven't found much in the way of replacements).

QuestionWill the Microsoft SQ1 Quacom run all the same programs that are out on the market like the Intel processor can or will it be hit and miss?

- Answer The emulation works really well. I've found it to be hit and miss only with games. For example, I had to fiddle with the emulation settings to get War Robots to run. Another game I play (Vega Conflict) will sometimes randomly crash. Starcraft 2 runs flawlessly. Currently only 32bit x86 apps are supported, but I've heard they may eventually get 64bit emulation working (probably a year out). If there is one app you just can't live without make sure it has a 32bit version available before you purchase the device (or app for that matter). Look for native apps whenever possible. Firefox Beta includes support for ARM64, the new Chromium-based Edge will too when it gets released for the device (the included Legacy Edge is of course included). VLC (media player) has an ARM build.

- Answer Great question! Surface Pro X will support the following LTE Bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 38, 39, 40, 41, 46, 66, as well as nanoSIM and eSIM support. We encourage you to reach out to your carrier to see if they will be compatible with Surface Pro X.
