• A:Answer No - almost all CCTV cameras are usable - most use the same type of power (5V low amp). Additional wiring is necessary to add the Zoom function. Cameras with zoom function on the market typically known as PTZ - point, tilt, zoom - where you can remotely control them around (nearly) 720 degrees.

• A:Answer You could add a wireless Camera with a receiver connected to one of the inputs. But its not really advisable. Wired connections are so much more secure and reliable. Regards, Guy

• A:Answer you can start and stop recording but as far as turning the camera off you would have to unplug it from the back of the DVR to do this
