Q: QuestionThis says the cameras are battery operated, but when I set them up they only worked plugged in. Are these or are these not battery operated?

- A:Answer Hi DJ. Yes, it is possible to mount this camera to the ceiling. The bottom of the camera has two keyhole slots, which make it easy to securely hang the camera on either the wall or ceiling. While the recommended installation is on a flat surface, like a table, the camera does offer pan and tilt options, along with auto-tracking, allowing you to control the feed via the Swann security app. Although not specifically designed for ceiling mounting, with the right mount or bracket, you can set it up on the ceiling. If the image is upside down after installation, don’t worry, you can easily flip the image horizontally (Mirror) or vertically (Flip) within the camera's settings in the app. Mary – Swann Team
