Hi etp7. There is one cable coming out of the base of the main unit, and onto that you attach the other cables. We have loaded a copy of the installation manual for this product onto https://us.swann.com/swifi-fourtify4/. You can find it under the Downloads section of that page and it will show you some wiring diagrams to help. - SD, Swann team
