• A:Answer No We bough this unit and Best Buy came out to install and the technician claims he cannot go over 10 feet a roof top is over 10 feet and the Teck was 6 feet so he claimed he could not go higher than 4 feet you would be best ordering from a security firm and have them install

Q: QuestionDo you have to connect the cameras to a TV/monitor for them to work? Or can you just hook up the cameras without using a TV?

Once set up the cameras can be remotely accessed/controlled using our Swann Security application. Due to security reasons, not all settings can be adjusted remotely. There is no specific limit but we recommend no more than 3 connections at once; the available bandwidth of the internet connection that the camera is using may also limit the connections that can be sustained. The cameras in this kit are weather resistant. We would not recommend using them outside of the recommended operating temperature and not expose them to the direct elements.
