• A:Answer No, this camera is for an NVR (Network Video Recorder with network cables) whereas your code is a DVR (Digital Video Recorder with coax cables and BNC connectors). You will need a camera starting with model code SWPRO-, for example the SWPRO-4KMQB

• A:Answer Hi Jerr. Sorry, this camera is not compatible with the NVR8-7400. That NVR model was manufactured over 8 years ago and we no longer sell the cameras for it. You may still be able to find some older stock online from other sources if you try searching for camera model codes NHD-818CAM, NHD-815CAM or NHD-816CAM. -SD, Swann Team

• A:Answer The power source is from the Swann NVR that this camera has to be connected to either directly with a cable or as a network camera connected to a POE switch that is in the same network as the compatible Swann NVR. This camera is not battery operated.
