What is the field of view null

I have it set up in a car lot and can see about 7 car lengths as people are coming and going. Across my lot I have my dumpster area and can see well into there too. Quite nice video too, barely any lag maybe a second you can see great at night, little less effective with rain and snow but still good. I ordered this camera but forgot to order the box with it and the adapter cord for my monitor. I received the camera quick but had to wait for the rest of the gear (user error) it's a great product if you have all you need.

The camera has a 70° field of view.
