Hello Reyes. These cameras come set up by default to turn on when it gets dark but can be adjusted. The deterrent lights only turn on when there is motion detected, but you can control the duration the lights stay on through the Swann Security app. Additionally, you can disable the enforcer lights altogether from your recorder by going into Menu> Alarm>Deterrent settings.
