“Would someone be so kind as to tell me exactly how this works? Do wired cameras still have to be plugged straight into the swann dvr? But just not connected straight to the router? We’d like to use downstairs tv but router is in our son’s room upstairs.”

Hello Bradfordrn, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. If you are looking at a DVR or NVR the kits will require wiring directly back to the recorder. Swann offers wireless security solutions that would have minimal to no-wiring. This wireless antenna allows you to connect your recorder to your wireless network.
