Hi Jack. Rolling means that the cloud storage is ongoing and that the newest day of clips replaces the previous day of clips. With this Xtreem4K camera you get 1 day of free cloud storage for the life of the product. What that means is that at any point in time you will be able to see the last 24 hours of cloud clips for free. If you choose to subscribe to Swann's Secure+ plans then the 24 hours of cloud backup becomes 60 days. Our subscription service is completely optional and also has other benefits included. In addition to cloud storage, this camera includes a 32GB MicroSD card which will give you many weeks/months of local storage as well. -SD, Swann Team
