A:AnswerNo hidden prices. And its does come with a dock and handheld controller for the joy con remotes. But only if your purchasing the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch Lite is only a portable gaming device. Not able to connect to the TV with a dock
A:AnswerYes, it can be connected to the TV via an HDMI cable through the dock. It can also be played as a handheld device. BUT, the switch lite can only be played as a handheld.
A:AnswerThe max power draw rate was achieved using a 45W USB-C PD (15V/3A) charger spec. The max power draw rates are: Original Switch 18W, New Switch 18W, Switch Lite 13.5W Here is the website with charging and power usage information: https://switchchargers.com/how-nintendo-switch-charging-works/
A:AnswerThe console has a cartridge slot for games but many games sell both cartridges and digital version. Depending on the game, wifi is not needed for most games. You'll have check the game before you buy. However it is safe to say a lot of single player games do not need internet. FYI, if you purchase a digital game, some games only require internet to initially download them but once saved on console, internet may not be required. Therefore once again, it depends on the game.
A:AnswerYou may purchase the warranty at the time of purchase. However Nintendo themselves offer free service to repair or replace drifting joycons. Due to the current epidemic the Nintendo service has been put on hold until further notice. Check out https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/ if you want.
A:AnswerCheck everyday it restocks randomly or call your local best buy. Your local best buy might be able to to tell you when they typically get their stocks. However, the pandemic is slowing down the process of making and shipping the switches so don't expect an exact answer because even Nintendo doesn't know exactly.
A:AnswerIt was in stock yesterday (Tuesday, 08/19/2020), I finally got to purchased my own. They should be showing up again little by little. Keep an eye out, it may restock again next week.
A:AnswerThere is not a set restock time for these things, I was able to get mine at 2am at complete random. Check as much as possible and get ready to just hit add to cart.
A:AnswerLook into the app HotStock. I was able to buy one within hours. The app alerts you when any store gets any in stock.
Best Buy seems to put about twenty in stock every couple of hours.
A:AnswerUnfortunately because of the limited stock you can’t preorder while they are out of stock. You just have to keep checking and wait until they restock to order.
A:AnswerJust keep checking consistently a few times a day. I would suggest getting an app like HotStock or something! I think they had a good amount restocked on Thursday because my sister and I were able to buy one. Maybe we got lucky but I think they’re slowly starting to restock so just keep an eye out and stay persistent, good luck!
A:AnswerIt gets restocked randomly throughout the day, so check often. I started using the site Zoolert which constantly monitors Best Buy and other stores' inventories and audibly tells you when an item is back in stock (as long as you keep the tab open). The closest I've gotten so far to getting a Switch is I had it in my cart and was just about to put in my payment info when I was told the Switch was out of stock. What I've read is there are bots that snatch up all the available inventory whenever it's back in stock. You just gotta be really quick or you'll miss out. It seems that either Best Buy doesn't reserve a product for you if it's in your cart until you buy it, or the bots are so fast that in the time between me clicking "Add to cart" and going to checkout they already got all the inventory so now it would be out of stock.
A:AnswerI actually got one that very same day online on Best Buy, that guys had no clue what he was talking about. I just kept checking in. Try restock websites, they helped a lot.
My switch is arriving this Friday
A:AnswerIt's pretty much unknown, factories for the Nintendo Switch are slowly opening up but also people are trying to get and people are botting/scalping purchases. You can only hope for the factories to churn them out faster.
