Q: QuestionDoes it need to be charged prior to the first use (the manual doesn't mention anything about the battery)? How long does it take to fully charge? Is there any way to tell if the battery charge is getting low, or does it just stop playing?

• A:Answer I have not tried it personally myself, but I would think so. I guess the quality wouldn't be as amazing as a blu-ray DVD but I am sure it will play regular DVDS. I think it is more of a concern when we try to insert a blu-ray disk into a regular DVD player, that is when we have an issue of the blu-ray disk not being able to play back. But this to me, shouldn't be an issue in this case. Good luck!
