Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That's exactly what I'm doing. If you already have an active SIM card that's the correct size, just plug it in and you're ready to go. My SIM card from the prior phone was too large, so I installed the prepaid SIM card that came with the phone, didn't power the phone on, and the called T-Mobile support from a different phone and the tech walked me though giving him the SIM card s/n and activated it for my account before having me turn the phone on.
