• To unlock it you have to call tmobile and tell them you want to unlock it and they will email you a code to use to unlock it. You can also go online and pay to have it unlocked but tmobile will do it for free.

• Ask T-mobile. They unlock the phones after a short period of usage (I think 60 or 90 days).
