“Can I use this phone overseas? I am traveling to Italy, and I want to use T-Mobile for the trips because their international rates are good. Bought this phone because it will only be temporary, but I see fine print on the outside of the box that says calls have to be made from inside the US. Is that true?”

• Get the phone unlocked for about $10, and then you can use it world wide on the 2G GSM 850/1900 bands, or 3G WCDMA/HSPA/HSDPA 850/1700/2100/1900 bands world-wide as you travel.
