• I would not try to use a sticky mount, especially if the mounting ball is not positioned on a flat horizontal surface. I just think that the weight of the camera and mounting ball may be a bit too heavy for secure mounting in this fashion. I just sat the ball and camera of a flat horizontal surface inside the house without trying to permanently attach the base to any surface. That way, I can easily move it around if I so desire. There are two holes in the back of the base, but it’s not clear that these holes are intended for mounting screws. The instructions do not suggest using mounting screws or adhesives. I would not use this mount outdoors.
