No, this is just a DVR for OTA. You need a device such as Roku to get the Tablo App and access this device.

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Philo, etc. are streaming services designed for streaming devices. Digitized broadcast signals from PBS, ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. [FCC mandated upgrade from grandpa's analog TV signal] are playable on your TV set. Instead of plugging the coax antenna cable directly to the TV set, upgrade it by plugging the coax cable into your Tablo unit & now you have the capacity to record your over the airwaves [OTA] programming with a nice user interface & stream the OTA shows on your streaming device. The only downside to the Tablo is from a poor reception area due to excessive distance from the broadcast antenna, ghosting, mountains, tall buildings and other signal degradation factors; the kind of thing(s) that Tablo has no control over. A professional antenna installer is a good resource when an outdoor install is necessary [it's worth it].

No, this only receives Ota signals. However, since this particular unit requires use of an app, what other devise you would need to use it should be able to use other apps such as Netflix or Prime.

No it does not. It only gets local over the air channels. But for it to work you will need Fire TV or something similar. I have Fire TV and you get Netflix and Amazon Prime as long as you have a membership for each of them.
