A:Answeryes it will (DX format). it worked good for me catching flying cooper hawks but im not the greatest photographer. also at really great distance you have to have a real steady hand or a tripod. no VR on this lens
A:AnswerTough question to answer. High school football fields are so poorly lit. College fields are much better. It is a tad slow in focusing at night, but sharper then used $500-$600 Nikkor lenses. With the price point, you can't go wrong.
