Q: QuestionHow well would this work on a Nikon 5200?
Asked by sdevans.
- A:Answer The D5200 is new enough that you shouldn't have any problems mounting any currently produced lenses for the Nikon F-mount. The only real downside to the 5200 versus the more expensive bodies is that the camera doesn't have the old screwdrive autofocus motor from the ancient times; but, I don't think anything still in production is built for that old system.

Q: QuestionI'm a sports mom looking for a zoom lens to go on my Nikon D5600. I have the 70-300mm but looking for something with more zoom to get my son on the football and baseball fields. Would this work? This is the least expensive one I've found.
Asked by TCARROLL.
- A:Answer The basic answer is yes. The more complicated answer is that it really does depend. This lens is over 4 lbs. handholding it for any period of time is tricky for the strongest shooter. The forward balance you’d see on a smaller body like on the 5000 series will make that worse. You will want to invest in a monopod, which is not a huge expense. Also, for this range, you won’t find anything lighter. So, there aren’t any better options. The other potential pitfall is that the f6.3 lens will mean that the camera will need a little bit more light than on a 5.6 lens. But, it’s only 1/3 of a stop, if you’re already happy with the low light performance, just remember, you’ll need to bump your iso by a third of a stop. But, if you were stopping down to get sharper images, this will be a moot point.

Q: QuestionWill this lens work on the D3300? Thanks.
Asked by Joy.
- A:Answer Yes the lens will work for the D3300. But if you are going to consider buying this lens, just be aware that this lens is heavy and the photographer will need a tripod to handle the weight over a long period.

Q: QuestionWill this lens work with a NIKON d3100.
Asked by couger1963.
- A:Answer All your Nikon needs is to be able to have inter-changeable lens. The Tamron SP 150-600 F/5 - 6.3 DI for Nikon should be fine. I have been very pleased with the lens on my Nikon D300s.
