• A:Answer the instructions say 4 hrs. I watched for approx. 6 hrs (3 movies) with no problem. next day when I put it on with charger pluged in....worked great. the only down side is that the color is not as good as conventional dvd,s, but ok for portable....very convenient

• A:Answer I have not tried to play frame by frame and I don’t watch anime but according to the instruction manual the remote has a ‘slow’ button. Slow motion has 4 speeds, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and 1/16. Press play/pause button to resume normal play back.

• A:Answer Although I've not tried playing a home recorded dvd, the box my player came in says supported disc format is CD, CD-R, DVD, DVD-R, DVD-RW and VCD. I'm assuming if you record in one of the record-able formats, it should work.
