When are you referring to screen protection? With the case closed, yes, it covers/protects the screen. The bumpers around help dissipate fall impacts to also protect the screen. There is no in-use screen protection with this case. I hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.when the cover is closed, it latches via a magnetic tab. I am not sure what height you might need to drop from to actually damage an ipad screen. when using the ipad with the case open there is no screen protection. But because of the rubbery surface, you would be unlikely to accidentally knock over the ipad from your lap or any horizonal surface. I actually like the accessibily and clearness of a the ipad's glass which is touted by apple s being tough by itself. I do use a microfiber (smooth and silky for eyeglasses) cloth to wipe daily finger smudges from the glass. Not sure any protective films would work as nicely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would be protected if the cover was closed, if the cover wasn't closed you would need to put a screen glass on it. My first iPad I bought in 2011, then my mini I bought a few months ago; I choose not to put glass or screen covers on them and I've never cracked them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Cover is padded
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The case does cover the screen. The retail packaging states that it'll protect the iPad Mini from a drop of a few feet. It's a nice case, but if you're looking for something with maximum protection from screen cracks, you should look at a different case. This case only offers minimal protection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No screen protector on this product. Screen is protected if case os closed.
