Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When u turn it on the blue light flickers for 3 sec then it should b charged u have to charge it for the length of what it reads in ur manual. U should get the hours of that charge. If u turn the switch on and if it turns red u need to charge it for the hours it states.

Please try again later.When I charged mine I had the case closed and charged for 24 hrs.but there should be a red light on inside, then it should turn green when fully charged. Maybe you should check your connection. Try charging it somewhere else. If that doesn't work then take it back to the store. I had no issues out of mine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very possible it IS DEFECTIVE. You should gave a yellow light upon plugging the Kundle in and a green light when it is charged. I usually get about 3 weeks from one charge. You may need to take it in or return it.
