The difference is that the $99.99 case does NOT have a backlit keyboard, regardless of what is stated here. The $139.99 case DOES have a backlit keyboard. Those other two reviews are for the wrong case as well. Same build quality. If you buy the THZ500US case and are expecting a backlit keyboard, you will be highly disappointed. The description for the THZ500US is flat out wrong! There's no Ni-Cad battery either. Both have Lithium-Ion batteries.”

If you buy the on online through Amazon you might get the wrong one, I know it happened to me. I had to go to Best Buy and spend the $140.00 to get the Targus backlit keyboard case for the iPad Air. There are companies that advertise the right ones but then send the wrong product. Beware of seller. But anyway I went to Best Buy and got mine in January 2016. And the brand is Targus backlit keyboard case for an iPad Air. You cand always call to verify, or just go in the store. If the price is cheap two to one it's not what it seem to be.
