A:AnswerThis reviewer must be describing a different case. The 4th generation does not work with this case. Camera lenses are wider than opening. This review made me think it would and end result is I needed to cut a larger opening. Not sure what case the reviewer was actually using.
A:AnswerIt didn’t charge mine. It does allow for a weak magnetic attraction to hold the pen lightly but my pen never was able to charge. I ended up cutting a notch with an exacto-knife and now my pen has a firm magnetic attraction and charges.
A:AnswerThe 3rd generation case does NOT fit the camera for the 4th generation iPad Pro. The 4th gen iPad Pro has a square shaped camera slot versus the smaller rectangular shape of the camera/flashlight slot on 3rd generation iPads.
A:AnswerI don’t use a screen protector on my IPad Pro but I just popped the IPad into the case no problem and the top piece just goes over the pencil. If you are using it the without the pencil the small piece just folds back out of your way. Hope this helps.

A:AnswerI’m not sure, but doing research in commercial applications today ranging from N35 to N52. Neodymium magnets are graded by their maximum energy product (BH)max with N52 grade neodymium providing the greatest magnetic performance and N35 being the weakest. If I were to measures the strength between a scale of 1-10, i would give a 4.
A:AnswerWe are using the Tarsus case on a 2021 12.9" iPad Pro which requires a USB-C charging cable (supplied with iPad). We charge the iPad with the Apple cable and have also used several after market cables (both straight and right-angle USB-C connectors ). All have worked with no interference with the Tarsus case..
However, my wife complained that the the Right-Angle connectors are hard for her to remove since the case makes it more difficult to grasp the connector to pull it out (easy fix is to reverse the cable and use the straight end connector for the iPad connection). No issues with normal straight connectors that are most commonly used.
A:AnswerI doubt that it would work perfectly. The camera hole won’t fit right and maybe the other cut outs as well. I would try it before you buy it. This is for the 5th generation iPad.
A:AnswerHello. Thank you for reaching out to us. I apologize, this case is not compatible with an Apple® 12.9-inch iPad® Pro (2nd Generation). Sadly, we do not carry cases for this model of iPad.
