“You describe it as a smart ANDROID TV. I am familiar with android phones, but i have an i phone. Does this create any problem? I assume I cannot mirror from an iphone without apple tv, but what features does the "android" provide that i phone would not”

Our TCL Android TVs do support casting from IOS devices. However, there may be a limitation depending on the IOS app you are casting from. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
