• Yeah. They are two completely seperate functions. Now it may look this way if the TV is updating or you are using voice controls but if you use antenna as a spurce then it would be the same as a dvd player or console you have hooked up. So again rhe answer is no the antenna will not wffect data usage of the TV and will not be "Steaming" over wifi.

• This TCL TV has a coaxial located on the back of the TV near the other inputs. By connecting an antenna you can receive over-the-air channels. However, the reception depends on the signal strength. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
