QuestionI'm on the fence with this TV. After reading the reviews and people having problems the screen going out. Instead of TCL replying with the same old worn out answer, why not telling them what the problem may be and how to possibly fix it.

QuestionHow do you get rid of or remove the soap opera effect on this television?

- Answer To be honest, you must have a high-definition cable box to take advantage of the 1080p Cable picture. For 4k quality you must use streaming services such as Hulu/Netflix/HBO/YouTube, Or watch through a PS4/5 &/or Xbox One for your movies trust me. You always can receive 4k picture that way. The best picture setting for a non-high definition box would be; Smart HDR mode, High-dynamic color contrast, and 45% Color Saturation with Cold Temperature and Native color space, Lastly have Sharpness at 100% and Brightness at 57% (ALL OF THIS IS IN ADVANCED SETTINGS ON THE TOP CORNER OF THE REMOTE). This is what I found through all the trial and error. Hopefully that helps with ur picture quality. Owned the TV for a month now and I love it.
