Press the Settings button. That's the one in the upper right of the remote control with an image of a gear on it. Select "System." Then select "Sleep Timer."

It seems that you were looking at instructions for a different operating system. For this TCL Android TV, to access the sleep timer you would press the remote menu button from any input or from the home screen navigate to: Settings -> Screensaver -> Put TV to Sleep.
