Depending on the connection type your DVD player uses, you would likely connect either via composite or HDMI. The composite connection for this TCL TV is a single input located between the coaxial input and the Headphone Jack. You would need to use an adapter to connect the traditional red/white/yellow cables you are used to seeing. The adapter would need to be purchased separately. Hope this helps! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello my name is Rick glad to help. Inside the box you will find an AV pigtail to connect the three RC cables (Red, Yellow and White) to your new TV. If you are having the TV installed just have your DVD player ready to plug in for the installers. The AV plug on the back of the TV is clearly marked if you are setting it up yourself. When you want to watch the DVD player simply go to "source" on the remote and choose AV which you can rename to DVD at any time. Hope this helped.
