Q: QuestionIs the remote IR or RF? If I use the optical out, can I disable the internal speakers and control the volume with the remote or do I have to use the soundbar remote?

• A:Answer Remote is both IR and BT. The remote will function as an IR remote until Google assistant is connected (BT), after the remote is connected through BT, then only the power button will function as IR, the rest of the buttons will work on BT. Additionally, you cannot completely disable the volume on the TV when it's on Optical. However, it can be put to zero. When that's done, then there would be a speaker icon showing it's disabled. If that's distracting, then the volume on the tv can be changed to 1 so the speaker icon does not appear. Furthermore, you have to use the soundbar remote if connected via Optical. Hope this helps! Q: QuestionI have an existing wall mount that has a length of 15 1/2 inches. and supports 80 pounds. I see it is fine on the weigh, will the length support where the screw holes are in the back to use my existing bracket. thanks

Q: QuestionHow is the remote response on the apps interface? Does it lag or is it pretty smooth.

• A:Answer The remote response is good. When navigating, pressing left, right, up, down it responds just as quickly as you'd expect. When launching an app though, or something else processor "intensive", then there is a little bit of a lag. That has to do with the processing though, not the remote. I found this tv's Android TV OS to be a bit laggier than my existing Roku 4k box so I'm just sticking with that instead.

Q: QuestionCan the TV be set to always automatically start with a certain HDMI port and not a main screen? We need a TV for my father in law that doesn't require any navigation to get to his cable box HDMI port. It needs to always start on the same HDMI port.
