“Does this TV give you full control over the picture, or only when video is being played? Had a low-end TCL gifted to me once and the advanced settings (backlight, contrast, tint, etc) only effected video, left system and app menus remaining too bright”

• The Advanced picture settings are designed for individual inputs or streaming channels. However, there are also settings in the TV menu that can be used to turn down the brightness of the menu/Home screen. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
