QuestionGot this unit a couple of weeks ago. Great picture. I had to hook my sound bar to the TV via the TV's Headphone Audio jack. The sound intermittently cuts out on TV headphone jack. I have adjusted all the applicable audio setting and can't resolve it.

- Answer I hooked the soundbar up to the optical output. The problem is that you can not control the volume with the TV remote when connecting through the optical port.

QuestionMy TCL model 55R615 we purchased 6 months ago has worked great until today. Now it will not turn on. The blue standby light is on, but the cable TV remote will not start it as it always has. I tried the reset. No go. Changed remote batteries. No go. Help!

- Answer Same thing happened to me. 55R615 - tried unplugging, resetting couple times as suggested by TCL but it didn’t turn on, ended up buying a new Power board per TCL’s recommendation, replaced it myself, which worked for 2 days and it shut down again, unexpectedly, and now it’s not turning on. It’s a 1.5year old purchase, out of warranty, please tell me what worked for you.

- Answer Any with 3.5 mm plug.Also you can download the Roku app on your phone or tablet and plug in headphones to that.

- Answer yesh a TiVo remote will work. I had to get the TiVo remote to do a search to the code cuz the standard ones wouldn't work. Tivo remote works better than the roku remote too!

QuestionWhat type of HDR does this use? Does this hdr type work on the PS4 pro? Does it have a gaming mode?

- Answer It uses Dolby Vision. Not HDR10+. I have my PS4 hooked up so it's great (God of War drool), but the PS4 Pro does not have a physical drive that will play 4K discs, so there really isn't any reason to use that. For streaming services just use the apps built in to the TV.

- Answer This TCL Roku TV does not currently support Apple Airplay. TCL Roku TVs have access to thousands of streaming channels, and over 500,000 movies and tv episodes to fulfill almost any streaming need. QuestionCan I hook my surround sound to this TV instead of buying a sound bar?

- Answer Yes, there is a 3.5mm audio output on the TV which will allow you to connect to a receiver via a supplied 3.5mm to RCA adapter. Additionally, there is an optical audio output which would allow you to do the same thing. If your surround sound setup doesn't require a receiver - for example, a powered subwoofer with these inputs - you'll be able to connect the same way.

- Answer This is not an outdoors TV but...I mounted my TCL 6-Series on a mobile TV stand and roll it out to the patio for outdoor viewing. I do not leave it outdoors when not in use and never expose it to the elements (like rain). The picture is very bright and looks great in bright conditions.

- Answer Currently, our TVs do not support Bluetooth. If you are trying to connect a sound bar or speakers you can use the Optical port, or the HDMI ARC port. For Headphones, there is a Headphone jack on the back of the TV, or you can download the Free Roku app for private listening. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

- Answer When using headphones for private listening, it will automatically mute the TV speakers. However, you can download the free Roku app on your smartphone or tablet to use with your TCL Roku TV. By using the app you can use voice search, voice control, and experience private listening. You can currently connect up to 4 phones with the Roku app to the TV, and everyone can connect to their own phone with wireless headphones to experience private listening. Hope this helps!
