A:AnswerThis is unfortunately a common issue. Go to TCL and on their community pages you will find a protocol for possibly stopping this; however it is not a guaranteed fix as it did not work with our set. TCL is coming out to our home to replace a part that is supposedly going to fix the issue.
A:AnswerThe big difference, besides the brushed metal finish, is in the local dimming zones offered on the 6 series. This really improves your contrast and black levels. Get the 6 series if you have the chance.
A:AnswerI have all these series (5 TCL total). Series 6 is in a different league as far as the picture quality is concerned. Ecstatically it looks nicer as well.
A:AnswerThe TV needs to be connected to the Internet in order to obtain the information needed to fill out the program guide. The over the air signal does not initially have this information and needs to pull it from the Internet in order to display it. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
A:AnswerI can tell you the picture is good with HD Antena. We recently got rid of cable so I couldn't answer that. We really love the picture quality and are glad we made the choice to purchase this TV.
A:AnswerAs an owner of this tv I can tell you they do support Dolby vision. At least through Netflix. So my guess is it would be coming soon if you hasn’t already been implemented.
A:AnswerI have XFinity's latest 'cube box' cable router and I have had no issues with my TCL HDMI connections. You can visit your local Comcast/XFinity store to get the latest cable modem router box. It only has 1 white light on front. No other lights or switches. Works great!!
