“When was the last firmware update on this TV? Its a 2023 model but assuming its firmware is newer since its still being sold in 2025. I wont have internet to connect to when setting the TV up for the first time.”

When setting up the TV, you would need to connect the TV to the Internet to receive the most recent software update. Thank you, TCL Customer Support
