I have both the 55r635 and the 65s535 and for casual viewing there is not that much of a noticeable difference to me with a small exception of brightness. The 6 series pops a little more with HDR content, but for casual viewing the 5 series (2020) is not far behind the 6 series (2020).

Both of these series are 4K UHD, have HDR support, have a Roku operating system, feature Dolby Vision support, wide color gamut, auto-game mode, an edge-to-edge glass display, QLED technology, CCZ, eARC, etc. The new 6-Series also features mini-LED technology, Variable Refresh Rate, THX Certified Game Mode, and more! You can also visit www.tcl.com/us/en/products/home-theater/6-series and scroll down to "Compare All Models" to see all models compared. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
