- Answer This TCL Roku TV has physical power and volume buttons. The physical power button is located under the status light you can see on the front of the TV. Right under the TCL logo you will feel 3 buttons; the middle button should be the power button with volume buttons on either side. QuestionI hooked up a older DVD player with red,white and yellow cable and when I input DVD player the. screen shows no signal...is it on? It is on and correctly hooked up as far as I know. Should I purchase a more modern one with the HDMI cable hook up?

- Answer I would suggest getting a new player with HDMI. Even if you could use the composite inputs your picture will be awful. 480i compared to 1080P is a huge difference.

QuestionI just bought a TCL 65S423. We have a sound bar & sub woofer hooked up through optic cable. The issue is my wife hears great and I need a wireless headset. I can't get two audio output at same time. Headset jack turns of sound bar etc. any solution?

QuestionI just bought a 65 in TCL series 4, 65S423 TV. I read the width between the legs on the 65 in. series 4 is 49.1 in but my TV legs angle out and will not fit in my 52 in. stand as the legs are 52 3/4 in apart. I see no way of reconfigure the leg mounts.

- Answer For the 65S405, which is the 2017 model, the feet spacing to fit on a stand is 49.1 inches. However, for the 65S423, which is our newest model 4-Series, the feet spacing to fit on a stand is 53.3 inches. The feet have a designated position, and cannot be reconfigured. - Answer No, this will not fit in your car. It went into my RAM Big Horn truck standing up but one rear door had to be open to do so. You will crack the screen if you lay it down and drive with it, Do not listen to the best buy sales people they were loading tons of these on their backs during the holidays. It says right on the box, Transport standing up to avoid damaging screen.

- Answer I don't know about Direct TV, but cable TV isn't the best way to fully experience the capabilities of today's 4K televisions. For example, I have Comcast. The best they offer, at least where I am, is 720p. Almost all of their "HD" looks terrible - blurry with bleeding, etc. Over-the-air TV, on the other hand, does not suffer from the bandwidth constraints imposed by cable providers, and the picture is quite visibly superior. As a test, you may want to hookup an antenna and check out an HD broadcast from one of your local stations. If you see a huge improvement, the problem isn't the TV, it's the source. Good luck!

- Answer Sales Guy at best buy told me a series 4 has less frames shown per minute than a series 5 and a series 5 then has less frames than a series 6 However unless you want to watch stuff in slow motion you will never see the frames per minute with the naked eye. I have a series 4 and it works great. They will recommend a series 6 if you watch sports games a lot as those are fast pace and will show up clearer. I do not notice any difference when I watched them side by side at the store.

- Answer No it is part of the operating system.The only thing you have to do is leave a card on file with them in case you want to rent movies.I had a pre paid card with only $2 on it and has been fine for a year now .I picked this tv because of Roku because they have a broad amount of apps.If you download the manual pdf @ Tcl.com they are great at informing all the features with this Tv.I like this tv and am glad i didn't get Lg or Samsung.
