- Answer I habe a moving mount so it is about 4.inches off the wall and i pull.it out to.match cabinets. If you use a flat.mount pretty darned close.

QuestionIs the qm8k too much for a garage that gets some light but also gets really dark? I just ordered the qmk7 but thinking if canceling and getting the 8 and its only 100 more right now.
