“Just received this, went to hook it up to my Samsung 6 Series. Thought I had an available HDMI connection but I only have the optical cable connection. Connected it from the tv to the sound bar, plugged it in, no sound!”

You have to manually switch the input to the correct output for the optical. The color code should be on the top of the sound bar unless you took the sticker off. On ours the correct color for Optical is yellow. If you have done this and you are certain it is on the correct input then try searching through your TV settings for sound output and select optical. Outside of these two things I don’t know.
