A: It offers news, movies and music. The sound when compared with price performance is excellent. This is used in a bedroom at our house so that we don't have to listen to the shallow sounded speakers with our new thin TV. More than adequate for the price...its solid. If you don't use the remote that came with your TV (I use the cable company receiver remote) you will need to use two remotes....but it isn't a big issue with us. Geaux Tigers!
A: I bought same unit and yes it does work your 32 inch tcl smart television. You just have to use the optical cable.
A: There are different sound modes (Music, Movie, and News) that can be changed based on what you are watching to better suit the content. You may want to try changing to a different mode to better fit the content you are watching. The sound modes can only be changed using the TCL Alto remote that comes with the soundbar. Q: I have a tcl tv. Will my existing remote work with the soundbar?
A: It depends on whether your model has an HDMI ARC port. You can see if your TV has it by looking at the HDMI port labels. Mine was HDMI 3. Once connected to that port it disabled the TV's speakers so it could control the volume of the sound bar.

Q: Can this connect to your tv with the usb and still hear sound?
A: I would assume you have to use either the HDMI or optical connection for sound from your TV
