• Yes, this will record from turntables, cassettes or anything else you can hook up to your amp or receiver that the CD player/ recorder is hooked to. I haven’t done any recording with mine yet, but the sound quality is great playing cds.

• Yes. As long as you have separate receiver and turntable unit. Must be plug ins with play in and record out on the receiver.
