“Is the entire back of case covering back of phone? Or is there a space of no coverage at the bottom edge of phone?”

All of the back is covered except where the camera lens is.

the only areas not covered as those for buttons on the phone and chaarging port, and headphones

The entire back of the phone is covered by the case. There's openings at the bottom for the plugs/speakers but the cover is in between those as well.
