I always recommend using a screen protector. I dropped my phone once onto a blacktop parking lot. I thought the screen was smashed for sure. Turns out it was only the screen protector that shattered. That saved me a big headache and lots of dollars. So, from that point on I always recommend using a screen protector. For the price of the protection look what it's going to save you in the end....plus....peace of mind.
