• Yes the back of the case is a hard shell and the sides are rubbery. Wouldn’t necessarily say “soft rubber” but it is rubbery.

• It’s all soft rubber/vinyl. Does fit my new iPhone12 ProMax like a glove- smooth and tight

• Exterior of the case is all hard plastic with exception of buttons that are more rubber like. There are rubber type bumpers at the interior corners to protect the phone in drops.
