A:AnswerYou can, but I will admit that it can be a little spotty. My wife's phone has to be set down on the charging pad in just the right spot to charge successfully.
A:AnswerI get about a year's use out of it before it starts to show wear but I am hard with my phone :/ and I keep it in my pocket. If you are more careful than me...probably will get a longer time with it. Only slight discoloration over time, but again probably how I handle it.
