“My TV is not close to a window. Does this antenna need to be placed by a window to get reception?”

• Sometimes you do. Depends on the reception for the day. Sometimes good sometimes poor. I bought the cord to extend it and reach the window. Once I did this the reception was so much better. No more recalibration.

• No, you do not have to place this antenna next to a window. It works fine as long as the area is not completely blocked off from the tv.
