Q: QuestionHi my Name is Lena just purchase a TERK Platinum Ultra Can't pick up ABC Stations
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This antenna is slightly directional. Try moving it slightly using the cable on the back, facing you, as a guide. Also make sure the switch is set to dual to take advantage of the pre-amp and amp.

Q: QuestionMy TV is not close to a window. Does this antenna need to be placed by a window to get reception?
Asked by IsaacR.
- A:Answer Sometimes you do. Depends on the reception for the day. Sometimes good sometimes poor. I bought the cord to extend it and reach the window. Once I did this the reception was so much better. No more recalibration.

Q: Questionhello this dar I want to know this antenna is how long mile between san jose area ? because I not want part of miss favor show channel I am seek inside for long mile is like about more than 70 plus? :)
Asked by darrell.
- A:Answer 70 miles might be too far. Also, it depends on the terrain (flat or hills) between you and the broadcast antenna. We are about 30 miles from TV stations and get great reception.

Q: QuestionIs there a way to turn this off, or do I have to unplug it every time I turn the tv off? If unplugging is the only way that it can be turned off, is there any harm in just leaving the antenna on? The small glow does not bother me. Thanks
Asked by Cubslady1.
- A:Answer There is actually no need to turn the item off. If you did, you would have to do the setup each time you want it on again. I wouldn't recommend unplugging it each time.

Q: QuestionDoes this antenna require a coaxial connection to the tv? If so, is there an antenna on the market that doesn't require a coaxial connection? Thanks!
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes it does require a coaxial connection. I'm sure there are a few antennas out there with the old two leads, or you could get an adapter.
