A:Answerthe black & white side are the same. Just made to blend into decor. CBS seems to be a stinker for a lot of people. I get it here in Riverside CA but I really have to find the sweet spot for the antenna. It is crazy, sometimes just a fracture of an inch makes a difference. I place mine on wall with those removable sticky picture hangers. Work great. Hope this helps. don't know anything about Seattle except that it is beautiful and rains too much.
A:AnswerIt just depends on where you are. I’m in a spot where amplifier or not I can only get about 19 stations, and this is the best one I’ve one had so far.
A:AnswerI didn't measure the cable but it is not very long. I even added a length of cable with a connector. It still did not work for me. I returned it.
A:AnswerI don’t live in the states I have a house in New York and Florida and it works fine in these locations not sure how far you are from the main antenna for the TV station if it doesn’t work I suggest you change the position that the intent is in
A:AnswerI found an amp that was for a outdoor antenna, the kind that attaches to the pole. It brings in a better signal. I have come to learn that there is no perfect indoor antenna. The thing to remember, location of the antenna is the most important and don't believe anything that's written on the box.
A:AnswerIf you have a strong signal coming out of the TV station, you should receive a clear HDTV picture.
Weather conditions DO effect the quality of the signal. In Wisconsin where we are at. QUALITY of SIGNAL is weather dependent. A strong rain storm or snow storm will deteriorate signal strength. You should have no problem.
If you are only at the location (house) on a part-time basis, this is much cheaper than a direct cable of satellite monthly payment.
