- Answer I would check settings on your TV. Shouldn't affect sound.

- Answer Using a direct ethernet connection to my modem/gateway/whatever. I stream major services (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, YouTube, etc) to my TV through my Tivo Roamio DVR that records from antenna reception, not cable.

- Answer an antenna works to receive over the air digital channels being broadcast. Different antennas will reach further. if you are mobile and can power a TV then you should be able to power an antenna.

QuestionWill this Terk HD antenna work to just pick up channels if hooked up to a older style CRT box shaped tv? I don't care if the picture is unable to see in 1080p since the tv is from before hd tv's were everywhere, i just want to know if it will work?

- Answer No, this antenna uses hdmi to connect to an HD tv. You might be able to convert the signal down but I’m not sure that would work.
