You should not exceed 80% of 50A circuit, so 40A max

Chargers can only use 80% of the breaker rating, so you are looking at 40 amps charge speed for for a 50 amp  breaker.
 should charge about 30 miles of range per hour

If one had a professional electrician install this to a 50A breaker then one has to set the output to lower than 40A. Almost no one needs more than 24A output.

12 kw/hour if you are using as a dedicated line. (only use to charge your Tesla) in general, If you are sharing that 50A line for something else, I would recommend you set up to 90% of the total usage in the Tesla app. @ 45A you will get about 10kw/hour

It's recommended to run at 40A but, will run at 48A w/o issue. 
I have mine running at 48A w/ 50A breaker.
